Deep cleaning in Springfield, MO.

Top-to-bottom reset for homes that need more than a maintenance clean. Inside windows, deep baseboards, ceiling fan blades, hard-water shower descale, behind and under the furniture. One written checklist. One fixed price.

When to book this

The "I haven't done this in six months" service.

Deep cleaning is the high-intent service. People rarely book it casually. They book it because guests are coming, because they're listing the house, because they just got over the flu, because they finally moved out of the apartment with the carpet they hated, or because they realized that nothing under the dishwasher has been touched in eighteen months. The job has a defined finish — the home gets reset to a level a maintenance clean cannot reach in two hours — and a defined scope.

We built our deep clean against a real punch list, not a marketing brochure. Every horizontal surface dusted, including the tops of door frames and the casings around windows. Every baseboard wiped — not speed-wiped, scrubbed. Every interior window pane done from the inside. Ceiling fan blades pulled down individually and wiped. Light fixtures dusted, with staircase fixtures taken down and cleaned by hand. Behind and under every piece of furniture two people can move. Detailed bathroom grout work and a full hard-water descale on every glass shower door and chrome fixture in the home.

Most Springfield-area cleaning companies don't have a dedicated deep cleaning page on their website. They treat deep cleaning as a vague upcharge applied to a Standard checklist — a price hike with no extra documented scope. That's the gap we close. Our deep clean has a written checklist, a fixed price calculated from bedrooms, bathrooms, and square footage, and a guarantee. If we miss something on the list, you call within 24 hours and we come back at no charge.

The Springfield context

Hard water is the boss-fight.

The single biggest reason Springfield homes need a periodic deep clean — and not just a maintenance Standard — is calcium scale. Wells across Greene, Christian, and Webster County run mineral-heavy, and even municipal water in the city carries enough hardness to leave a permanent-looking haze on glass shower doors after about a year. Maintenance Standard cleans hold the line; they keep new buildup from accumulating. But once scale is set, only a deep clean with the right product chemistry pulls it back to clear.

We use a hard-water-aware product set on every Standard and Premium clean — meaning the right acid for calcium without etching the surrounding glass, hazing chrome plating, or stripping the silicone seal between the tub and tile. Most over-the-counter sprays either don't touch the buildup or eat the surface trying to. The deep clean is where this work compounds the most: every glass door in the home descaled in one visit, then maintained by recurring Standards from then on.

Same principle on stainless faucets, kitchen sinks, and refrigerator water dispensers. The first deep clean clears the buildup; recurring service holds the line. If your home has been sitting on a year of hard-water buildup, expect that to be the most visibly satisfying part of the clean.

How often

Once a quarter, or once before recurring service starts.

For households on bi-weekly or weekly recurring service, a deep clean once or twice a year is enough to hold a near-spotless standard indefinitely. For households without recurring service, every three to four months is the rhythm that keeps the home from drifting back to baseline. For households booking their very first clean with us, we almost always recommend a deep clean to start — it brings the home up to a level where Standard recurring can hold it, instead of recurring service trying to catch up every visit.

The other common cadence is event-driven: before holiday hosting, before relatives visit, before listing the home, after illness, after a renovation. Deep cleans handle all of these. The scope and the price are the same — what changes is the timing.

FAQ

Deep cleaning, answered

The questions Springfield-area homeowners ask before booking a deep clean. Don't see yours? Drop it in your booking notes.

What's the difference between a deep clean and a standard clean?

A deep clean covers everything in Standard plus interior windows, deep baseboard detail, ceiling fan blades, light fixtures, behind and under furniture you can move, full hard-water shower descale, and detailed bathroom grout. Plan on 4-7 hours for a 3-bed home with two cleaners — roughly twice as long as a Standard maintenance clean.

How much does a deep cleaning cost in Springfield?

A deep clean for a 3-bed/2-bath in the Springfield metro typically runs $260–$360 depending on square footage and add-ons (inside oven, inside fridge, etc.). Larger or more neglected homes run higher. We give you a fixed price at the walkthrough — there is no hourly billing and no day-of surprise charges.

Should I get a deep clean before recurring service starts?

Almost always, yes. Deep cleans bring the home up to baseline so your recurring Standards stay at maintenance level instead of trying to catch up every visit. After a deep clean, a Standard recurring at bi-weekly cadence is enough to hold the standard for most Springfield households indefinitely.

What about Springfield's hard water on showers and faucets?

Hard-water descaling is the single biggest visible difference between our deep clean and a maintenance clean. Mineral scale on glass shower doors and chrome fixtures builds up over months — Standard cleans hold the line, but only a deep clean clears the existing buildup back to glass. We use the right product for the job so we don't etch glass or strip chrome plating.

Do you do inside the oven and fridge?

Inside oven is a $35 add-on (about 15 minutes). Inside fridge is included on the Premium tier and is a recommended add-on for any deep clean — most fridges haven't been pulled apart in over a year by the time a deep clean is booked. Both are easy to bolt on at the walkthrough.

Will you move furniture to clean behind it?

Yes — anything two cleaners can reasonably move (couches, beds, dressers up to a certain weight, end tables). We don't move pianos, gun safes, or full-load bookcases for liability reasons. If you have a specific piece you want pulled, mention it at the walkthrough so we can scope it correctly.

How long does a deep clean take?

Plan on 4-7 hours for a 3-bed/2-bath home with two cleaners. Larger homes, more neglected homes, or homes with significant pet hair can stretch to a full day. We'll give you a time window at your walkthrough — and we'll commit to it.

How fast can I get on the schedule?

Walkthroughs are typically scheduled within 48 hours and deep cleans usually land within 5-10 days of the walkthrough. Saturday slots fill first; mid-week mornings have the most flexibility.

Do you guarantee your deep cleaning work?

Yes. If you spot something we missed within 24 hours, tell us and we come back to make it right at no charge. The deep clean checklist is written down — if it was on the list and we didn't do it, that's our problem to fix, not yours.
